Sujal and Roma are a husband and wife Optometrist team, who believe that when it comes to eye care it should be a personalised service catered to addressing your individual needs. We aim to provide you with a comprehensive eye examination using hospital grade equipment delivered in a professional, caring way to suit all your eyecare requirements.


Harefield Opticians was founded in 2007 by David and Elizabeth Baddeley and taken on by ourselves on their retirement in 2022. Using our 30 years+ experience as Optometrists, we understand that every client is unique. We take the time to listen to your concerns and answer any questions you may have. We pride ourselves on building long-lasting relationships with all our clients to provide you with the best possible care for your eyes.

Roma Shah

Lead Optometrist

Optometrist and co-director of Harefield Opticians. Roma has been practising Optometry since graduating from City University in 2004. She has a special interest in Myopia Control and accredited in both Mi-Sight Contact lenses and Miyosmart by Hoya. Her main ethos is to deliver eye care in a friendly yet professional manner which is particularly helpful to put her clients at ease from younger children to the older adults.

Sujal Shah

Specialist Optometrist

Optometrist and co-director of Harefield Opticians. Sujal has been practicing Optometry since graduating from Aston University in 2005. He has a special interest in Dry eye, Contact Lenses and OrthoK as well as telemedicines. He has further specialised in telemedicines for ophthalmology and has a keen interest in artificial intelligence.

Jacqui Dunleavy

Receptionist

Jacqui joined the practice in 2022 and has always worked in patient care. She started as a student nurse, and further qualified in Anatomy and Physiology in Sports therapy. She has spent the last 13 years within the NHS as a receptionist. Jacqui has a bubbly, friendly personality and is particularly helpful in frame styling and making everyone she meets feel at ease.
